How To Get Notification Bubbles For All Your Notifications Like Facebook Messenger

Remember the app by Facebook that allows you to send messages to your friends and post stories? No, not Instagram. No, not Whatsapp. It is the Messenger app that Facebook forces on you to download a separate app that consumes hundreds of megabytes just like the Facebook app, yes the Facebook Messenger.

Though it occupies a lot of your storage and RAM it has one really good thing and surprisingly it was not copied from Snapchat. It is the notification bubbles for your messages also known as chat heads.

These bubbles appear on the left or right corner of your phone and allows you to read and reply to your messages from any app, without having to actually open and enter the messenger app. So it kind of took multitasking to the next level.

But unlike Facebook Messenger no other android third party app or system app have added this bubble notification feature.

So as it always happens an enthusiastic android user have developed an app called Bubblefication which apparently, as the name suggests, bubblefies notifications sent by each and every app installed on your phone.

So whenever you get a new notification, Bubblefication will display a notification bubble at the corner of your phone, in the colour and size you like. You can even select which notifications you want to display and which you don’t.

The app also allows you to view long messages which is normally not visible in the notification panel and you can even reply to and view messages in fullscreen activites like when you are playing a game or watching a movie. And the best part about this app is that it is completely free and has no ads!

Bubblefication also shows the history of your notifications so that you can views those old messages or alerts you dismissed.

How to setup the app

Step 1:

Install the app from this playstore link.

Step 2:

Open the app and then enable the notification access permission to allow the app to detect and read your notification.

Step 3:

Now select and deselect which apps you want or don’t want to show the notifications.

Step 4:

Finally you can now customise the features of the app according to your preference like the colour, size and position of the bubble.

You can also choose what action to perform when the bubble is clicked and whether or not to display the bubbles in the lockscreen.

Be Sure to check out the app to improve the multitasking abilities of your phone and comment your suggestions!

How To Use Android Instant Apps Without Installing Them In Your Phone

Banner 01

Google announced a few months back that they are bringing instant apps to their Android operating system. Instant apps are a nifty little feature where you click on a shared or a posted link online, and then a small snippet of code that is required for the functioning of the app gets downloaded allowing you to use the significant part of the app without even installing it on your phone.

As we already said in our previous post, Instant apps have a lot of benefits like saving your precious storage, using apps with large sizes without even downloading them, especially useful in situations where you need to use an app quickly, but you don’t have sufficient data or speed to do that. You can read more about the advantages and working of Instant apps here.

However, as remarkable as the instant apps may sound, Google seems to take its own time in rolling them out to the extensive public user base. So, as it always happens an impatient and an enthusiastic developer, this time from India has taken the liberty to bring the instant apps version of popular favorite Android apps to his fellow Android enthusiasts.

A recent startup which goes by the name AppBrowzer have released and Android app of the same name which allows the users to use popular Android apps as instant apps, without having to install or download them to your phone.

Unlike Google, which is planning on developing instant apps only for big developers who are enrolling in the program, AppBrowzer has developed instant apps for widely popular Android apps in every category.

Some of them include Uber, Amazon, IMDB, Quora, Paytm, CNN and many more apps out there, All you have to do is to install a single app, AppBrowzer on your phone and then voila, you can now use multiple resource-hungry and storage consuming apps without having to spend a byte of your storage.

All you have to do is to choose your  favorite app or an app you want to use only for a single time, like booking an Uber or using Amazon to enjoy the app only offers but you are too reluctant to download those apps just for a single time usage.

AppBrowzer then loads the app you have selected and sure enough it provides the same experience you get when you actually download and install the app from the Google Play store, except for this time it is much quicker and less space consuming, not to mention saving hundreds of megabytes of your precious limited data.

Feel free to comment on your experience with AppBrowzer and post suggestions or requests below if any! You can also visit the website of the developer for more information!

Create Your Own Personalized News Channel With This App

Ever thought of having your own personalized news channel or website where only the news you love and want to read is shown? How awesome it would be to only get the content you have interest on to sent you the moment they are posted on the web? How much time you could save by directly getting notifications only for your favorite content among the plethora of content on the internet?

Tickers is one such app which lets you create your own personalized news channel and sends you the notifications only to the channels you subscribe. This means that whenever an article or video of your interest is posted in the Cnet or The Wallstreet Journal, you would immediately get a notification straight to your phone.

This is much better than subscribing to a ton of websites using your e-mail and receiving a huge collection of mail every day. Which would finally make your most important emails get lost in the pile of your subscribed news updates and at the worst will end up making your inbox look like a piece of junk.

Tickers, on the other hand only sends you notification updates to your favorite topics and unlike emails which send a link to their website as an update, you can directly open the website by clicking on the notification sent by tickers.

Which means that there is no tedious task of opening your mail and then clicking on the link sent and end up opening a bunch of apps to finally land in your browser app to read the news before you get uninterested.

Once you have installed Tickers, all you have to do is to pretty much simple as exploring through the significant collection of websites across all topics and choose which sites to subscribe.

You can also make a choice to whether or not to allow the app to send you to push notifications. I, personally recommend you to enable them since it is much faster and easier than opening the app and browsing through the lists.

You can also create your own ticker for your website or your video channel if you register yourself with the app. There is also a trending section where you can find the hot topics across the web and a favorite section to view what posts and news you have liked.

My favorite feature of the app is the battery saving AMOLED theme which is actually very nice to look at. I also like how it organizes and categorizes the news based on the website it is from.

The app has also got a high rating of 4.7, and the reviews are mostly positive. Check out the app from the play store and don’t forget to comment below your thoughts on the app!

Automatically Lock Your Phone When It’s Snatched From Your Hand Using Accelerometer

A majority of the android users always tend to lock their android phones with either a pattern or a passcode to protect their phones from unauthorised access or to prevent unwanted persons from accessing their phones. But sometimes while we are using our phone, our friends or family members may snatch it from our hand playfully and go through our pictures or even our messages this may be uncomfortable to some people and they cannot lock their phone in such instant situations.

You may like:
Automatically turn on your hotspot

So, what if your phone locks itself automatically when someone snatches it from your hand or immediately after you put your device on a table or when it unknowingly slips from your hand or pocket? Sounds cool right?

Well, I’m going to present you an app that does just that. And the best parts are that the android app is completely free, has no ads and most importantly it does not require root or any permissions that violate your privacy!

How it works:

The app called, PluckLockEx, a free android app from play store makes use of the accelerometer sensor that has been built right into your phone and then detects the movement of your device based on a specific threshold value that you will set.

What happens is that when your phone is suddenly exposed to a motion that is beyond the threshold value that you have set, your phone will be instantly and automatically locked. Therefore when someone snatches the phone from your hand wanted or if you place your phone on a table or it unknowingly slips out of your hand or from your pocket it will be securely locked instantly.

This means that you are no longer exposed to any kind of privacy threat nor you are needed to worry about unwanted people going through your phone because it is always safe and protected even under unavoidable circumstances.

All you have to do is to install this app from the play store and then specify the level of threshold you want and then the rest is taken care of by the app.

HTC U ULTRA – The 2nd Smartphone with a 2nd Display Comes With Built In AI

With LGV20, the first smartphone with nougat out of the box and the first smartphone with a dual display, we all knew that dual displays are going to become a thing. But no one knew it will be this soon, with the announcement of the brand new HTC U ULTRA at the CES last week.

The Taiwanese Company Suggests that HTC U ULTRA is a phone built for ‘U’ but we have to wait for its official release around March 2017 to see if it’s true. But rest assured this phone has the potential to be labeled as one of the exciting announcements at CES this year besides the Snapdragon 835.

HARDWARE

With its 5.7 inch Quad HD display and a super LCD screen along with the new Liquid surface that HTC Claims to have introduced in the new U Ultra, there is no doubt that this phone will excel in terms of quality and performance in the daydream VR and other Functionalities of Virtual Reality.

The hardware must not be a joke either with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and the 821 processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon the phone is expected to be blazing fast than many of its rivals, especially the Samsung S7 Edge.

THE HTC SENSE COMPANION

The most exciting thing about the new HTC U ULTRA besides all those new hardware inclusions must be the HTC Sense Companion, an artificial intelligence much like the Google Assistant, if not better. With AI built right in into a phone for the first time, unlike the Assistant From Google, the Sense Companion is expected to evolve as you use the phone over the time.

HTC Suggests that it is capable of learning about your actions and sends you instructions and suggestions based on the time, weather and your current location. It can also perform basic functions like opening an app, accepting and rejecting calls, put your phone in silent and many such things.

The HTC Sense Companion comes with a system update once you buy the phone and it is also designed to integrate with many third party apps and websites over the time to automatically provide you useful information when and where you need it.

THE SECOND DISPLAY

Similar to the LG V20, the HTC U ULTRA have made use of the 5.7 inches Phablet sized screen well enough that you never need to turn on your entire phone’s display to view any useful information or access your favorite apps or contacts. You can just tap over the secondary display which is of 2.05 inches and save your battery. You can also view messages and other kinds of notifications here, making it a much simpler task than to actually pick up your phone and unlock it.

NO JACK, AGAIN

With all those amazing features lined up, one must think that this phone must have at least one annoying thing. Yes, you are right, HTC is a yet another phone to add itself into the category of smartphones with no headphone JACK. But still, with its Ultrasonic sound and 3D audio, it must not be a huge disappointment to the audiophiles.

THE CAMERA WITH A HIGH SCORE

The HTC U ULTRA must be a tough competitor to the Pixel in terms of the Camera performance with a score of 88 in DxOMark it must be no joke. And also it has the OIS that the Pixel lacked placing the HTC U ULTRA a little above the Pixel. But even without it, the camera is still decent with the 12MP and the 16MP shooters along with added features like 4K recording and Auto HDR.

PRICE

The Unlocked variant of the HTC ULTRA is priced at 749$ and it comes in many color variants like the Sapphire Blue, Ice White, and the Brilliant Black. A cosmetic pink option is also expected to be released soon. You can check out details about other specifications like the 4GB RAM and the micro SD support at GSMARENA.

Whatever maybe the case, as a new smartphone user you may take some time to make yourself familiar with the android ecosystem, or even experienced users may get bored of just using their smartphones with those mandatory apps rather than bringing out the full potential of your phone.

You cannot carry your PC everywhere, so what about your phone? You can take it anywhere right? Thats where apps like Team Viewer or the app from you PC’s  manufacturer Microsoft Remote Desktop.

Using these Remote apps, you can control your PC or your Laptop from anywhere you feel comfortable, thus eliminating the need to sit at the same place for several hours. These apps allow you to do all those work that you perform on your PC like document editing, Organizing your tasks and similar tasks, All you need is a reliable connectivity and a smartphone and you are good to go.

You can also transfer files from your phone to your computer and the other way around, wirelessly using this technique and also view all of your files in a single place without any USB cable!

Use your smartphone as a remote control

If you have read my review about Unified Remote before, you will know what I am talking about.
Ever been in a situation that you may have to reduce the volume of your Computer or open a file or play a song but you were too lazy to get up and do that task? Or you are giving a presentation and you find it frustrating to reach your PC everytime to change the slide or open a file?

You can find the link to the server and other instructions here.

If you have IR Blaster in your smartphone, you can perform much more useful tasks like controlling your TV, your AC or any other wireless speakers and similar electronic devices, right from your phone without any difficulty.

With Peel Smart Remote and dozen of other similar apps you can control anything right from your TV to your AC and all you need is just an IR blaster. You may just do about anything like changing the temperature or switching on or off your AC, changing the channels or skim through your TV guide using this app from your phone and the best part is all of these apps are completely free and no additional charges are incurred!

Tranfer Your Files Wirelessly

With your smartphone and a stable Internet connection, you may never have to worry about carrying those numerous cables with you for transferring files  between your devices. All you need is an app to transfer files wirelessly among your devices and make it hassle free, forever.

With apps like WiFi PC File Explorer, there is just a one time process of setting up the server on your desired PC and then you view your complete PC hard drive on your phone and also open and play songs and your files on your phone wirelessly..You can also upload your files through this app to your computer and then delete and modify unnecessary files right from your phone.

You can use this app in various scenarios such that viewing what kind of songs or movies present in your computer from your phone, streaming audio, video and photos directly from your computer and also you can upload the files from your phone to your computer anywhere you chose through the upload here option in the menu.

Make the most out of your AMOLED screen

If you have a phone with an AMOLED screen then you can enjoy some of the extra benefits like saving your battery life and increasing the remaining time to charge your device. Basically, devices with AMOLED display tend to lighten up only the colored pixels, which means that if there are black colors on your smartphones screen, then the pixels at those positions are turned off to save the battery to a greater extent compared to other devices.

Therefore you can set a dark wallpaper or use the black themes and sometimes AMOLED themes if available in most of your apps resulting in a longer battery life. Popular apps like twitter and Reddit allow you to use the AMOLED theme to preserve the battery life.

So, don’t hesitate to search the internet for dark and black wallpapers to extend your battery life. You can also use apps like Always on AMOLED an in built feature in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge which keeps your dispaly always on ny showing only the black background, so you can avoid the battery drain which happens when you constantly check your phone for the time or notifications.

Surf the web using floating browsers

Most of us use our smartphone mainly for surfing through the web or skim through the social browsing about our favorite topics or interests. So, it seems likely we click on a link that we find interesting while scrolling through the web and it opens in a new tab on a separate browser application.

This while seems normal may sometime be annoying to a few to constantly switch between apps as interrupts their scrolling journey or they may miss out on several other constantly updating contents below before they finish reading the link they have just clicked and opened.

Though this may seem like a simple issue, android does not seem to handle it very well thus making constant shift between apps a pain, But as always a 3rd party developer with an app called Flynx Browser comes to the rescue to the android users. What this app does is a simple task which makes browsing a breeze and much smarter.

After installing this app, whenever you click a link anywhere on your phone, there will a bubble that silently opens minimized on the side of your smartphone and you can open as many links as you want and they will be silently loading at the side, while you continue to surf the web. Once you finish browsing you can click on the bubble and read those links you have opened and the most useful feature is that it blocks all those intrusive ads and also has a black theme.

Hide your apps from the main screen

Sometimes you may want to be more secure or just want to hide your apps from your kid or other people who you do not want to go through you private stuff. But sadly android does not support this feature by default. But we know that we can do anything with the open source awesomeness of android.

All you need is to install a custom launcher like GO Launcher or if you like a clean clutter free stock android feel you can purchase the nova prime launcher from the playstore. You can find the option to hide apps in the settings menu and once you select what apps to hide, they will immediately be hidden from your app list so that no one except you can access them,

If you are person who do not like to modify your Interface with any custom launchers, you can use the built in profile feature available from lollipop version to create a new profile, which only displays the default apps making the other apps in your phone inaccessible unless you use the password.

Using the Now On Tap Feature

This may seem like an obvious trick but it still remains as one of the most useful and easiest tricks on android since it comes baked right in your smartphone you need not install any additional apps or change any setting for it to work.

Now On Tap is a feature of the built in Google search app in  your phone which works when you long press your home button on any screen in your phone. What it does is that, it scans the entire page when you press the button and then returns useful information based on the contents of the current page. You can use this feature in any app and it always returns relevant information like the artist of the song currently playing or the name of the actor in a picture.

You can also use it to visit directly to the social media profiles or the Youtube channel of any person or a thing without having to manually search for the term.

Protect your eyes using the blue light filer

This is one of my favorite tricks and I use it every night while I browse through my phone. You may also use your phone for a long time during the night hours or at a dark place but what you do not realize is that your phone may emit a blue light and constant exposure to it may affect your eyes causing strain and difficulty in sleeping.

Research suggests that continuous exposure to the blue light emitted from the display of your electronic devices may affect your natural circadian rhythm which in turn affects your ability to sleep peacefully. But you never need to worry if you make use of the blue light filter apps like Twilight which imposes a filter over your phones default blue light making it easy and comfortable for your eyes to view your smartphones screen at night.

You can setup the app to automatically impose the blue light filter based on your location or your desired timings and it will trigger based on the conditions. So you can get a peaceful night of sleep without having to worry about using your smartphone for longer periods.

Change the way you used your phone with this app, FOREVER!

Ever been in a situation, where you are constantly opening Google search and then searching for a word which you don’t know the meaning for? Or much worse, you are learning a new language and you do not know how a specific word is pronounced?

Are you a kind of a person who frequently uses a set of words like sending your address or posting your email and frustrated much to type it again and again?

Well, I have got a solution for all of your problems and it is not the keyboard app with an inbuilt search engine I reviewed before. Get ready to change your awful experiences into awesome, FOREVER.

WHAT THE APP DOES

I Should say that Text Aide is a productivity powerhouse because it does so much useful things for you that your time is saved significantly and your overall user experience is improved.

The app allows you to search the meanings of words, find out their definition, search for them in your favorite search engine and also reduce the number of words you type by substituting it with a macro of your choice!

Once you have setup the app you can use it from any screen you are in. Be it an eBook you are reading or a web page you visit. It even works when you are having a conversation with someone.

And the highlighting feature is that you don’t need to open the app every time because you can access it either from the notification panel or a floating button from any app you are using.

HOW TO USE IT

What I like the most about this app is that the simplicity involved in setting up and getting it to work.
You need not mess with the settings or configurations because everything has been tuned to provide the best possible experience by default.

Of course, you can tweak with the settings menu and change the configuration to your own preference like setting up the default search engine to your favorite or increasing the size of the font.

Also, by using the expansion feature you can add your own macro so that whenever you want to type a large piece of information you can use this short macro as a substitution and the app will automatically replace it with the text you have setup.

For example, if you are a business associate and constantly in the need to send your office address to many people then you can create a macro named “@office”. So, the next time you use it in a message, it will be automatically replaced to your office address. Yes, it is pretty cool and you can set up as many macros as you need.

For using the search, define and speak feature you just need to select the text for which you want to perform the operation and then a drop down menu provides you with the options from which you can select one. You need not leave your current app as the results are displayed in a floating window right where you are.
WHEN CAN IT BE USED

There are numerous scenarios when this app proves to be useful. Be it when you want to know what a word means in an email but you do not want to leave the app, just select the word and click define or search and your result will be right there, floating.

It is also useful for people who are learning a new language and have not yet used to some of the words, just select that word and click pronounce and it will be dictated for you immediately. Also, as I said above, the macros are much helpful for people frequently typing and sending the same repetitive long messages.

BATTERY AND MEMORY CONSUMPTION

The app goes very lightly on your phone and unless you want to keep the copy aide service on the notification bar, you will not even notice a slight decrease in your battery or your device performance. So, even if you have a low end or a poorly configured device you can use this app with no issues.

RATING

★★★★ – My rating
The need to download and install an additional dictionary for the purpose of clearer definitions is the only downside to this app, but if you are ok with using the default google dictionary or the wikitionary you could not find any issues with the app.

In the plays store, the app has got an enormous rating of 4.7 along with 10 thousand downloads which are not surprising considering how useful the app is.

BOTTOM LINE

Download this app right now and change the way you have interacted with your phone forever.

Comment and share if you love the app and also check out my other reviews!

This app can replace 53 apps on your phone!

I guess that many of them after reading the title of this post may have thought that it is about some of those apps that claim to save your battery and improve the performance of your phone but in reality they just deplete them.  No, this is not one of those posts.
But I can promise you that at the end of this post you will actually be able to save the battery and improve the performance of the precious thing on your hand or right now on the table or somewhere.

What the app does

The mechanism of this app while seem rather simpler on the user frontier I must assume that the developers should have put a lot of effort for creating this wonder because as the name suggests it creates lite apps and also makes the work of the users lite.
The home screen of this app offers a plethora of the most popular apps on the market and it allows you to create a lite version of them. Once you select the app it then instantly creates the liter version and adds a shortcut to your desktop.
From then on you can access the app from that shortcut and you can see no difference between this and the original app except for the improvement in the battery and performance of your device!
The app claims to tightly integrate with your system and I have to say that it does the exact thing. It could be accessed from the recent apps menu it could be configured for notifications and it even has inbuilt ad block and no track features!

How to use it

As I already said creating lite apps using Hermit is a very simple process just like trump winning the elections! J.K Rowling to the instructions…
First you can select any one of the provided apps from the homepage and then proceed to create a new lite app or if you can’t find the app you are looking for which I am sure will not happen as they have a vast number of apps you can paste or enter your desired URL and then create one.

Here are some of the screenshots of the app.

Once the lite app is ready you can access it from the shortcut on your desktop and then use it like you any other normal app except this occupies much less space and consumes a negligible amount of your precious percentage.

Inside the lite app you can access the settings menu from the right side where you can find useful options like ad block, do not track, notifications and full-screen support. Hell, it even allows you customize the action bar to your favorite color!
Yeah, you read that right.

When can it be used

The complete idea of this app is to replace or substitute those memory eating apps which seem like 40-50 MB while downloading but take their freedom to occupy around 300-400 MB of your valuable storage.

( function() { if (window.CHITIKA === undefined) { window.CHITIKA = { ‘units’ : [] }; }; var unit = {“calltype”:”async[2]”,”publisher”:”Rajasekar37″,”width”:550,”height”:250,”sid”:”Chitika Default”}; var placement_id = window.CHITIKA.units.length; window.CHITIKA.units.push(unit); document.write(‘

‘); }()); //cdn.chitika.net/getads.js

So feel free to replace that memory and battery hungry apps with the lite apps provided by the hermit and trust me you won’t regret it!

Rating

★★★★★ My rating
It has got a rating of 4.5 with 100 thousand downloads in play store for the Free version which allows you to create a maximum of 2 lite apps and if you like the experience you can always purchase the premium version which according to me is totally worth the bucks.

Bottom line

If you got a phone with a very less internal memory(yes people still use them) or you do not want your phone to die before your girlfriend(if that exists) calls you but you still want to use Facebook or Twitter in the meantime, give it a go.

Access Your Complete PC Hard Drive In Your Phone With This App!

Best File Transfer App

WiFi PC File Explorer

Upon reading the title of this post I am pretty sure that most of them would have thought that i am gonna talk and review about popular apps like Share it or Xender. But as far as those apps are concerned they are primarily serve the purpose of fast file transfers between devices and in my personal experience i never found them satisfying or reliable.

But this app goes a step further which not only makes it fast and reliable but also one of the most unique and useful apps and gives complete access to your PC Files better than Unified Remote, But we know that is the best remote app.
which is often overlooked in the plethora of not very useful but has millions of downloads and tracks the user data kind of apps.

What the app does

Ever felt angry because you cant find your USB cable or they are out of your reach and you are too lazy to go and get them or worse you don’t even own a USB cable but still want to transfer files to and from your computer at very high speeds? Or you want to listen to music in your favorite music app but that song is in your PC? Then this app is exactly what you should be using.

Here are some of the screenshots of the app.

The main screen of the app greets you with the list of all the servers that are present in the same network of your phone and provides a QR code for you to scan the server software on your computer that you have already set up. Once you have gone through the initial stages you are good to go and can start your file transfers.

The major purpose of this app is to make transfers between your phone and your computer a breeze and it does it much better than any other best apps out there. And also did I mention it is completely free highly customisable and also has a built in audio player?

How to use it

This app is actually very simple to use. The first step involves in setting up your sever on your PC and then ensuring that both your mobile and your computer are present in the same network.

The next step is to select which computer to share your files with and then your entire computer layout will be shown in your phone which includes all of your hard drives and even the external hard disks and pen drives you have connected.

And the best part is that you don’t need to provide individual permissions for accessing each and every folder, once you are connected you can access pretty much anything on your computer.

When can it be used

You can use this app in various scenarios such that viewing what kind of songs or movies present in your computer from your phone, streaming audio, video and photos directly from your computer and also you can upload the files from your phone to your computer anywhere you chose through the upload here option in the menu.

This app also lets you access the files your phone by providing an in built file manager!

Battery and memory consumption

Since this app does not require any kind of background running or services this does not consume your battery much unless you choose to stream the videos on your computer in your phone for a very long time.
Also since this app is free of ads and has a simple UI it does not consume much of your RAM either which is a good news for phones with low configurations.

Rating

★★★★★ My rating

It has got a rating of 4.7 with a 500 downloads in play store for the Full version and a rating of 4.2 with over 100 thousand downloads for the free version of the app.

Bottomline

Want faster transfers smooth streaming and an easier life? Give it a go…

Control Your PC

From Your Phone

Unified Remote

The main reason I am reviewing this app is that “I am lazy” and I assume that most of you people who landed here are also lazy too. So what I am trying to convey is that how awesome would it be for us lazy peeps to control our laptops or PC’s while not getting up from our couch or bed right from our phones?

Like.. changing the PC volume using our phone as a mouse or even playing songs or accessing our files all the way up to restarting or shutting down your systems or even viewing your desktop screen remotely on your phone no longer getting up from your place?
Yea, you heard me right. Read on to learn more about this gift to humanity…

Also, the full version comes with 90+ free remotes along with voice commands, floating remotes, IR and NFC tag supports and even android wear control is available.

How to use it

The best part about the unified remote is that its simplicity in getting started which involves in downloading the app from the play store and then setting up the server.
After installing the app make sure your mobile and the computer are present on the same wifi network or a LAN connection.

The app will then automatically detect and connect to the server after which you can select and explore various remotes provided on the home page of the app.
You can also use your voice to open particular remotes and set up widgets on your home screen and have the most used or favorite remotes as a notification for quick access.

When can it be used

This the most exciting part of the post as I am about to tell you that when can you use this app and make the most of it…

First off the app can be used for typing  on your laptop using your phone right now I am doing the same also you can use the voice dictation functionality of your phone to dictate your documents or any other important text right from your phone without having the need to physically type thus saving much more time for people who do  a lot of typing.

Secondly, if you are like me and you hear a lot of songs you can use the app to play/pause and control the volume of the songs.
You can also use the various remotes provided for controlling your Spotify, VLC and other
media players, control your powerpoint presentations and even your web browsers like chrome, Opera, and firefox right from your phone.

And like I already said you can use it to power off, restart and also to put your computer to sleep, turn off the display, remotely view your computer screen on your mobile and lock your PC remotely when you are away from it.

Battery and memory consumption

I, like many of them out there, consider battery as the top priority of my phone and I can assure you that this app consumes very less to no significant percentage of your battery so you can use it with less fear of your battery draining.

And as far as the memory consumption goes it I have been using this app for the past 3 hours for dictating controlling media and other stuff and it has occupied only about 30-40 MB of memory so it should not be a problem for people with phones of less RAM.
